The search for the biggest Leo Messi superfan is over after one crazy follower swam out to sea to meet the Barcelona striker whilst he's holidaying on his yacht.
Messi is currently on holiday in Ibiza, and his boat wasn't too far from the shore, but it was still a significant 1 kilometre from the beach when the fan decided he wanted a picture.
On the spur of the moment, he launched into the water and began wadding towards his idol, obviously unaware how his gesture would be received.
