Barcelona Boss Luis Enrique Heaps Praise On Celtic Player

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has admitted he'd be chuffed to see Celtic and their supporters return to the Champions League this season, whilst also admitting he has been impressed by Patrick Roberts.
The Catalan giants and the Scottish champions met for a pre-season friendly match in Dublin yesterday, with the La Liga side coming out as 3-1 winners after an entertaining 90 minutes.

The Hoops couldn't make much of a dent on Barca's defence, despite Leigh Griffiths' goal, but that didn't stop Roberts from making an impression on Enrique. The 19-year-old Englishman is currently on-loan from Manchester City, and showed flickers of his promise with several darting runs in the first-half.
Of his performance, Enrique said via the Celtic website: "He's a great player and he has a great future. "He has great quality and he brings a lot of things to the team."
And of the Celtic support, the Champions League-winning manager added: "The sensation and character of the Celtic team was good and now they have the second game of the Champions League (qualifiers).
"The players have to adapt to the new coach and I hope for the team and the coach that they will get into the Champions League and I expect them to go through."
Celtic will know their Champions League fate soon, with their third round qualifying match against FC Astana of Kazakhstan taking place on Wednesday night in Glasgow.
Brendan Rodgers' side secured a crucial 1-1 draw away from home last week, and if they can finish the job at Parkhead, they'll go into the final qualifying section.
