This is the incredible moment an heroic off-duty nurse saves the life of a builder after he was stabbed and left for dead on the street.
Harrowing video footage shows the dressed down woman on her knees performing CPR as she desperately attempts to keep the blood soaked stranger alive.
The 41-year-old man can be heard wheezing as he gasps for breath as she pumps down on to his chest on the pavement of a packed commuter street.
Witnesses claim the man had stopped breathing and his body had begun to shut down after the brutal daylight stabbing.
But thanks to the courageous efforts of the mystery Good Samaritan, he was saved from dying there and then.
Dressed in black trousers and a loose fitting t-shirt, the fearless nurse got the man breathing again after working on him for a full five minutes before paramedics finally made it to the scene.
